Zan Nikolaj

Zan Nikolaj of NC passed away on November 23rd at the age of 87. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be profoundly missed.

Zan is survived by his daughters, Terrye Boyce, Paula Berquist, Valerie Massie (Rick), Monica Hernandez (Ariel), and Melissa McMahon (Tim); 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and his brother Eugene. He was the son of the late Zan Nikolaj Sr. and Mae Nikolaj Rendel, and is predeceased by his beloved wife Theresa, and his granddaughter Tara.

Prior to his retirement, Zan worked in the Aerospace field as a CAD Designer and Draftsman. He had a passion and love for all aspects of photography that he immensely enjoyed throughout his lifetime. He belonged to numerous camera and photography clubs where he met many of his closest and dearest friends. At his request, there was no funeral service. A private graveside service was held in NYC.
