Raleigh, NC - Yvonne was called home by her loving Father the Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 24, 2026, with her loving family by her side. Yvonne was a native of Wake County. She was the daughter of Clee Dexter Sauls Sr. and Elsie Perry Sauls who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Kirby R. Williams; her brother, Clee Dexter Sauls Jr.; sister, Emily Sauls Partin; brothers-in-law, Ted Partin and Carl Sorrell; and her niece, Kim Hudson.

Yvonne was a 1956 graduate of Garner Senior High School. She was employed by Flue-Cured Tobacco Stabilization for 31 years. She was also employed with the Wake County School System for 4 ½ years as a bus driver for Garner Senior High School. She loved driving a school bus; and her students were very special to her. Yvonne also was employed by Wake Technical Community College for 7 ½ years.

Yvonne was a member of Highland Baptist Church on Crowder Road, Raleigh, NC. She loved her church family. Yvonne loved her Lord and had very strong faith in Him. She was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School class, a member of the Young at Heart Group at Highland, she loved people. Yvonne was a member of The Red Hat Society - The Scarlet Teacups of Garner, NC.

Yvonne loved and enjoyed music, she sang in the choir at New Bethel Baptist Church and Turner Memorial Baptist Church for 36 years. Yvonne enjoyed and loved spending time with her family, loved doing things for others, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Yvonne is survived by her daughter, Angela Hunt Johnson and husband, Randy Johnson; two grandchildren, Hunter Lee Johnson (Emily) of Garner, NC and Hannah Leigh Johnson, of Angier, NC; sister, Cleo Sauls Sorrell of Apex, NC; niece, Carla Sorrell of Burgaw, NC; nephew, Clee Justin Sauls and wife Rachel Sauls of Garner, NC; niece, Anna Sauls and great nephew, Tanner of Raleigh, NC; niece, Becky Parrish of Baton Rouge, LA, Keith Hudson; great nephew, Nathan Hudson; great niece, Madison Hudson of Willow Springs, NC, and niece, Tina Partin Carter and husband, Tommy; and great nephews, Cameron and Gavin Carter of Raleigh, NC.

Yvonne was a great loving mother, grandmother (Bubba), sister, aunt, sister-in-law, and friend to all.

The family will receive family and friends at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Benson Road Garner, NC from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Friday, May, 29, 2026. The funeral will be at the chapel of Bryan Lee Funeral Home on Benson Road, Garner, NC at 1PM on Friday, May 29, 2026.

Burial will follow with a graveside service at Montlawn Memorial Park.
