Willie Marshall Hall

Marshall Hall, 91, passed peacefully in his home and entered the gates of Heaven early Monday morning, September 29, 2025.

Marshall is survived by his wife of 68 years, Margie Hall of Raleigh, NC; his son, Scott Hall (Anita) of Winston-Salem; their only grandchild, Randall Hall (Josh) of Lawrenceville, Virginia.

Marshall was preceded in death by his brother, JR Hall, and two sisters, Virginia Owens and Louise Worley.

Marshall was born in Smithfield, NC and attended Smithfield High School. Upon graduating, he attended Hardbarger Business College and then went to work for Gerber Foods, Drackett, and Best Food up until his retirement at 60.

Marshall and his wife are faithful members at First Baptist Garner where he served as a deacon, sang in the choir, and chaired many committees over the years. His family is so proud of the example Marshall lived out as a husband, father, and grandfather.

Psalm 4:8 "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Lord, alone make me dwell in safety and confident trust."

Visitation will be held Friday, October 3, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Garner at 10:30am, immediately followed by the funeral service at 11:30am. There will be a private interment for family only at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh, NC.
