William Stanley Deese, Jr.

ANGIER – William “Billy” Stanley Deese, Jr., 61, passed away at Duke Raleigh Hospital on Thursday after a battle with cancer. Billy leaves behind his wife of 28 years, Sharon J. Deese; father, Stanley Deese, Sr. of Hickory; sister, Beth Thomas of Newton; brothers, Ricky Deese of Archdale, and Charlie Deese of High Point; nieces, Sara Woody of Newton and Ashley Helton of Conover; and several great-nieces and nephews. Also surviving are sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Glenda and Brewster Mason; brother-in-law, Tony Jones; stepdaughter, Christina Mason. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherril Smith Deese Chriscoe. He will be missed by many!
