William H. Franklin, Jr.

RALEIGH -William H. Franklin, Jr., 76, died at his home Sunday. A native of Wake County he is the son of the late Viola Cooper and William H. Franklin, Sr. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. Funeral services will be 12:00 pm Tuesday Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner with burial to follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife Christine Wilburn Franklin; daughter, Signa Carter and husband, Ronald of Raleigh; sisters, Frances Pearson and husband, Jessie of Raleigh, Dot Strickland of Cary, Ruth Aldridge and husband, Hal of Raleigh, and Carolyn Sutton of Raleigh. The family will receive friends from 11-12:00 Tuesday prior to the service at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home.
