William C. Bill Hare

APEX - William C. Bill Hare, 82, passed away Tuesday at his home. A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late John Neal Hare and Varina Sorrell Hare. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Joyce Hewitt Hare; daughters, Kathy Hare Willett and husband, Larry; Susan Hare Kincaid and husband, Steve, all of Greensboro, Melanie Hare Troutman and husband, Brad of Winston Salem; Amy Hare Helbush of Raleigh; son, William Curtis Hare, Jr. and wife, Nancy of Raleigh; grandchildren, Casey and Israel Willett, Courtney and Seth Kincaid, Adam, Taylor and Graham Troutman, Lucas, Max and Haverly Swart, William Curtis Hare III and Elizabeth Hare; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Jayden Swart and Savannah Brice Willett. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Brett Kincaid.
