William “Billy” C. Mclean, Jr.

William “Billy” C. McLean, Jr., 77, passed away Friday March 6, 2020. A native of Wake Co. he was the son of the late William C. and Clara Matthews McLean. Billy was a truck driver for many years, driving for Kenan Trucking Co. He also proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 8th at 3:00 PM at Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will be 11:00 AM Monday at Lakeside Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 2:45 PM prior to the service at the church. In addition to his parents Billy was preceded in death by a brother; James McLean; granddaughter Shelby Greene; and sister-in-law Ann McLean. Billy is survived by his wife of 31 years, Jeanette Young McLean; daughter, Angie McLean Dorman and husband, Lynn; son, Dwayne McLean and wife, Sheree; daughters, Lisa Moore and husband, Ricky, Sheri Greene and husband, Jeff; son, Phil Parnell and wife, Jana; sisters, Annie “Bootsie” Arnold and husband, Tommy, Nancy Collins and husband, Tom; brothers, Phil McLean and wife, Gloria, Tommy McLean; sister-in-law, Linda McLean; 10-grandchildren, Justin McLean, Michael McLean, Stephen Dorman, Leslie Parnell, Jonathan Parnell, Aaron Parnell, Amanda Moore, Mitchell Moore, Madison Greene and Olivia Greene; 10- great-grandchildren and 2- great-great grandchildren.
