Wilbert Pinkney Coats,III, passed away on January 8, 2025 at Duke Medical Center. Born in Wake County, Bert was the son of the late Jr Coats and Jewell Dewar Coats.

A memorial service will be held for Bert on January 18th at 2:00 PM at Shadow Ridge Baptist Church, 3400 Avent Ferry Road, Holly Springs,

Bert is survived by his mother, his son Ryder Coats, his sister Candice Davis, her husband Michael Davis and their child Chase.
