Waylon "Boogie" Smith

Our precious son, Waylon David Smith, was born on May 8, 2025, and passed peacefully out of our loving arms into the loving arms of Jesus on May 14, 2025. Though his time with us was brief, he brought a lifetime of love in just six days.

Waylon was the beloved son of Josie and Jason Smith of Willow Spring, and the cherished baby brother of Charlotte Smith, who already adored him. He was deeply loved by his family and will always be remembered as a beautiful gift who touched our souls forever.

In addition to his parents and sister, he is survived by his grandparents, Vance & Sherry Taylor of Benson and Summer and Matt Lowe of Angier.

Though we only held him for a short time, he will be carried in our hearts for a lifetime. We take comfort knowing that Waylon is now in the cool breeze of Heaven and the loving arms of our Savior, surrounded by peace and love that knows no end.

Waylon's family will receive friends and family on Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 12:30 to 1:20 pm in Bryan-Lee Funeral Home - Angier.

His funeral service will be Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 1:30 pm in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home. The burial will take place following the service at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
