Virginia Joyce Gill

Virginia Joyce Gill, 88, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026. Born July 16, 1937 in Raleigh, NC, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Adelaide Noelle Murray.

Virginia is survived by brothers, Fred Murray (Kathe) and Eric Murray (Terry); nieces, Jeanne Custer (Richard), Pat Carter (David), Sharon Peele (Eddie) and Erica Robinson (Brian); Raymond Murray (Donna) and Cameron Murray; and many beloved great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leonard Joyce; brother, Reade Murray and nephews, Fred Murray, Jr. and Grayson Murray.

A private graveside service will be held for the family.
