Vincent Taylor Neil

Sherwood Douglas "Bud" Pendergraft, Jr., aka Vince Neil, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, at his home in Clayton, at the age of 55. Born on February 18, 1971, in Raleigh, NC, Bud spent his life rooted in the state he called home. Bud was the beloved son of Rose K. Southern and her husband Michael P. Southern, as well as Sherwood D. Pendergraft, Sr. He shared a close bond with his sister, Kelly Pendergraft McDowell. Bud was also a devoted father to his daughter, Nikki Neil, who brought immense joy to his life.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Neil, whose memory he cherished deeply. Though details of Bud's personal and professional life are not provided here, those who knew him will remember him for the impact he made on their lives and the memories they shared together. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
