Vera Ogburn Boots Bridges

Raleigh- Vera Ogburn (Boots) Bridges, 96, passed away Wednesday. Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Melvin Ogburn and Addie Florence King Ogburn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel A. (Skinny) Bridges in 1998. The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00 pm Saturday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Survivors include her daughters, June B. Barrington and husband, Ebb of Garner and Debra B. Keener of Raleigh; son, Glenn O. Bridges of Raleigh; granddaughter, Jamie Marie Keener of Lillington.
