Tyree Watkins

RALEIGH – Tyree Watkins, 89, passed away at Transitions LifeCare on Friday surrounded by his loving family. A native of Wake County he was the son of the late Thomas and Penny Medlin Watkins. Graveside services will be Tuesday, March 17 at 2:00 PM at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Louise Watkins; sons, Ardie C. Watkins and wife, Donna of Apex, Mark S. Watkins and wife, Peggy of Raleigh; grandchildren, Allison Putman and husband, Lindsay, Jennifer Watkins and fiancé, Danny Durham, Tiffany Watkins; great-grandchildren, James Wray Putman, Henry Tyree Putman, and Lily Ann Putman. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner and at other times at the home of Ardie and Donna Watkins.
