Travis Clea Johnson, 36, passed away unexpectedly on July 31, 2025. He was born in Wake County, North Carolina, on February 1, 1989, and was the son of Clea Otha Johnson and Lisa Ann Blake.
Travis was a devoted son, grandson, a loyal brother, and loving companion. Travis will be remembered fondly by family and friends as a one-of-a-kind man of loyalty, humor, care, respect, and silly quirks. He was a man with so much love to give. There is no one like Travis Johnson. He was stubborn and prideful, yet gentle, loving and kind. Travis believed in keeping your word. He believed in respect. He believed in being loyal to those you love. And he was. Travis loved his shoes, his music, and watching the forex/stock markets. He enjoyed John wick movies (among others), video games, biking, travel, spending time with his loved ones, and was a IPhone/Apple user til the day he died. He loved Carolina Blue. He would eat Oreo ice cream everyday if he could. Travis had a smile that shined so beautiful and bright, it would be hard not to smile with him. He had a brilliant, musical mind. Music was his passion. You could always find Travis in a hat and a hoodie, with the coolest shoes in a 1,000-mile radius.
Travis loved to play little dad jokes, such as reaching around to tap you on the opposite shoulder so you think someone is there, making you look over to see who it is, but there's nobody there it's just him smiling next to you on the other side.
Travis completed the lives of the people that were close to him and added so much love and life to their lives. He cannot and will not ever be forgotten. He will be loved and missed dearly forever. He is loved all the way to the stars and moon, and back again.
Travis is preceded in death by his father, Clea Johnson; Grandfather, Clyde Blake; Great Grandmother, Mary Alexander; Aunt, Denise Blake, all of whom he loved very dearly.
