Tomasa Thammy Cintron, 86, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025. She was born in Puerto Rico on January 22, 1939, and was the beloved daughter of Juan Cintron and Maria Medina Cintron.
Tomasa was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be remembered fondly by family and friends as a woman of great compassion and generosity.
In her personal life Tomasa found great joy in In her personal life Tomasa found great joy in riding her motorcycle, spending time with her family and her specialty hobbies like sewing, knitting and horticulture.
In addition to her parents, Tomasa is preceded in death by the love of her life, Rudolph Mingoia; sons, Hector Davila and Javier Davila; brothers, Eduardo Cintron, Marcelo Cintron, and Carmelo Cintron; all of whom she loved very dearly.
Tomasa is survived by her loving daughter, Yvette Davila Bonet; brothers, Jose Luis Cintron, Juan Ortiz Cintron, and Pedro Cintron; sisters, Catalina Rivera Cintron and Luz Medina Cintron; grandchildren, Jenise Medina, Samantha Alvarez, Hecter Davila Jr., and Jonathan Davila; great grandchildren, Star Charriez, Izabella Alvarez, Ahnalie Polanco, Benjamin Noah Alvarez, and Miyah Alvarez.
Tomasa's legacy lives on through the family she cherished and the many lives she touched through her kindness and generosity.
A celebration of life will be held at VICTORY CHURCH, 2825 S Wilmington St. Raleigh, North Carolina on Thursday, September 4th, at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Tomasa's memory to, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
