Thurlie Jasper Baucom

JUNE 7, 1940 - SEPTEMBER 7, 2012 LILLINGTON - Thurlie Jasper Baucom, 72, passed away on Friday. A native of Harnett County he was the son of the late Thurlie Gunther and Elizabeth Butts Baucom. He retired from Swift Denim in Erwin after 25 years of service. Graveside Services will be held on Monday at 1:00 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Margaret Jones Baucom and son, Russell Baucom both of Lillington, sister, Betsy Marks and husband James of Angier, brothers, George Baucom and wife, Carolyn of Lillington, Billy Baucom and wife, Doris of Raleigh, Joseph Baucom and wife, Linda of Lillington, uncle, J. C. Butts and wife Margaret of Raleigh. The family will receive friends 5:00 - 7:00 PM Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to E.
