Thomas Floyd Austin

Thomas Floyd Austin, 81, passed away on May 11, 2024. Thomas served in the US Army 75th Ranger Regiment and was a Purple Heart recipient. He also served with the State Capital Police for 20 years before retiring in 1993.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 2:00 PM, in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 Benson Road Garner, NC 27529. The family will receive friends following the service.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Connie Austin; children, Michael Gall (Lindsay), Christopher Gall (Andrea), and Jason Gall (Samantha); grandchildren, Robbie, Katelyn, Corbin, Ayden, Piper, Claire, and Mason Gall; and a sister, Rebecca Moore (Larry).

Thomas was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Austin and brother, Charles Austin.
