Ted Atkinson Edgerton

CLAYTON – Ted Edgerton lost his long battle with cancer. Through it all Ted continued to be a shining light in many people’s lives and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elva Mae Edgerton; father, Jesse Elton Edgerton; and son, Christopher Lopez. He is survived by his wife, Britta Edgerton; sons, Tony Lopez and Sandy Myers; daughter, Crystal Woodard; grandchildren, Amanda Lopez, Kaitlin Lopez, Bryce Woodard, and Christian Lopez; great granddaughter, Elizabeth “Izzy” Lipscomb; brothers, Danny Edgerton and wife, Candy, Greg Edgerton and wife, Pat; sister, June Edgerton; special cousin, business partner and friend, Mark Narron and wife, Debra; as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
