Tanner Souders

Tanner Souders, 25, passed away on September 30, 2022. A native of Johnston County, Tanner was born July 14, 1997, to Arthur Cole and Dona Elizabeth Shaw Souders. Tanner was a giving, loving, caring man with a bright smile that could light up any room. He and Carol, the love of his life, loved spending every minute together, especially with their daughters. Tanner really enjoyed taking family trips together with Carol and his girls. Tanner made the most of his mechanical know how and spent as much time as he could working on anything with a motor.

A Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022, in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, Garner. Family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Tanner is survived by his soulmate, Carol Dee Green; daughters, Natalie, Kaylee, and Avery; parents, Arthur Cole Souders and Dona Elizabeth Shaw-Souders; siblings, Ashton Elizabeth Dean and husband, Blair, Dustin Souders and wife, Rachel, and Jason Souders and wife, Carissa; niece, Adalynn Souders; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Tanner was preceded in death by his daughter Penelope.
