Tammy Leigh Baker

Tammy Leigh Baker, 65, passed away on July 29, 2025, following a period of declining health. She was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, on September 28, 1959, and was the daughter of Geraldine Morris and the late Leigh Vondus Baker, Jr.

Tammy was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She graduated from Garner Senior High School in 1977 and went on to pursue a career as a medical quality controller for a variety of biotechnical companies. She was most fond of her pets and her family, her love and commitment to them was something to admire and was reflected in all that she did. If one's life can be measured by enduring pain and suffering and still being able to express love to those around them, then hers was remarkable. She will be missed greatly and will forever be remembered by her family and friends.

Tammy is survived by her mother, Geraldine "Gerry" Morris; brother, Trey Baker, married to Corinne; and nieces, Sarah Farr, husband Tyler, Sydney Somentac, husband Erick, and Sloane Baker.
