Tammie Bullock Houck, age 63, went home to be with Jesus surrounded by love on Tuesday, December 23rd. She is now healed, whole, and free from pain, celebrating eternal life with her Savior. She was born on March 17th in Wake County to the late Howard and Thelma Bullock.
Tammie was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and faithful sister. She had a special love for the Christmas season and found great joy in her family, especially her beloved granddaughter, Katherine. Her strength, faith, and loving heart touched everyone who knew her.
Tammie dedicated many years of working with Winn-Dixie and the State of North Carolina. She built lasting friendships with her coworkers and took great pride in being a person of integrity who always strived to do what was right. She loved visiting both the beach and the mountains and was always planning her next adventure, cherishing every opportunity to enjoy life with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Tim Houck of Garner; her sons, Travis Bradshaw and wife Lorenda, and Shawn Bradshaw and wife Angela; her treasured granddaughter, Katherine Bradshaw; her sisters, Kathie Conner and Polly Baker; her brother, Tony Bullock; her sister-in-law, Melissa Watkins and husband Donald; and her brother-in-law, Russell Houck and wife Jen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loved cousins.
In addition to her parents, Tammie was preceded in death by her brothers, Brent Bullock and Wayne Bullock; her sister, Faye Bullock; sister in-law, Theresa Houck.
The family is deeply grateful for the prayers, love, and support shown during this difficult time.
