Susan Elizabeth Hoey
FUQUAY - VARINA – Susan Elizabeth Hoey, 76, passed away on Wednesday at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh. Born in the United Kingdom, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Bentley and Irene McCarthy Bentley.
A private memorial service will be held at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, Angier.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Len Hoey; daughter, Heather Lilly and husband, Chris of Mechanicsville, VA; son, Chris Hoey of Charlotte; sisters, Wendy Klish of Kernersville, and Lesley Bentley of Vermont; grandchildren, Logan Lilly, Benjamin Lilly, and Collin Hoey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Susan’s memory to the UNC Lineberger Cancer Center at unchealthfoundation.org.
