Stacey Lynn Jarrell

Stacey Madden Jarrell, 47, died on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Born May 19, 1979 in Wayne County, MI she was the daughter of David Madden Sr. and Letitia Vance Adams.

Stacey Jarrell grew up in Michigan and later lived in West Virginia before making North Carolina her home in 2019. A devoted stay-at-home mother, she enjoyed decorating, crafting, and sharing conversations with older adults, for whom she had tremendous respect and compassion. Her tender heart extended to animals as well—she would stop whatever she was doing to rescue a turtle from the road and had a special love for pigs. Strong-willed and determined, Stacey was also her children’s greatest supporter and most enthusiastic cheerleader. She was incredibly proud of her son’s service in the United States Navy and treasured hearing her daughters sing. Stacey’s compassionate heart, determined spirit, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Stacey is survived by her husband, Joshua Jarrell; daughters, Kasey Bowen and Kourtney Bowen; son, Karson Bowen; mother, Letitia Adams (Mike Collier); step-father, Glenn Adams; step-mother, Sandra Madden;; sisters, Jessica Madden (Jose) and Jennette Madden (Damon); brothers, Timothy Madden (Meia) and David “DJ” Madden, Jr. (Karen); mother and father-in law, Leonard and Penny Jarrell; sisters-in-law, Jasmine Pig, Abby Jarrell, and Donna Dillon; brothers-in-law, Justin Jarell (Trista) and Jeremy Jarrell (Keira); special aunt, Cricket Pelfrey; special uncle, Lee Vance; special nephew, Dakota Madden; special great-nephew, Jonah Madden; nephews, Jacob Madden, Brandon Madden and Caleb Jarrell; nieces, Emily Madden and Alivia Jarrell; special cousins, Melissa Vance, Wendy Nagy, and Kristie Smith; and many beloved family members and friends.

Stacey was preceded in death by her father, David Madden, Sr.; brother, Joshua Madden; and both paternal and maternal grandparents.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 2:00pm at the family’s farm at 62 Gunsmoke Lane, Louisburg, NC 27549.
