Shirley Mae Solomon

ANGIER – Shirley Mae Solomon, 79, passed away Monday. A native of Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late John Matthews and Gertie Narcissus. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Shirley is survived by her daughters, Lisa Solomon Ford of Marianna, FL and Leslie Solomon Williams of Spring Lake; sons, Brannon Solomon of Chesapeake, VA and Daniel Solomon (Melina) of Angier; sister, Earlean Sanders of Port Arthur TX; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Brannon Joseph Solomon, Sr; and daughter, Deborah Solomon Reck; brothers, Peter Mitchell, Joseph Cormier, and Louis Cormier.
