Shirley Higgins Sandy

Shirley Higgins Sandy, 82, passed away at home after a lengthy illness. A native of Johnston, Co, she was the daughter of the late Noah and Penny Stephenson Higgins. There will be a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM Monday Dec. 28, 2020 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Survivors include husband of 60 years George Sandy; daughters, Connie Sandy and Jennifer McKee and husband Charles; brother, Shelton Higgins and wife Peggy; 3-grandchildren, Courtney Dolan, Michael Dolan and Noah McKee and 2-great-grandchildren, Christian and Aiden Herrera. Shirley will lie in state Sunday from 1-5 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner, for those wishing to pay their respects and sign the guest book. (No family will be present). Please wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines.
