Shirley Bell

WILLOW SPRING-Shirley Bell, 85, passed away on Wednesday at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Fuquay-Varina, on Saturday, June 12th at 11:00 AM. Shirley is survived by her daughters, Lisa Abbe (Galen) of Smithfield, Vicky Howard (David) of Four Oaks; son, Joey Hampton (Bonnie) of Willow Spring; sisters, Audrey Smale of Willow Spring, Jean Stookey of Kentucky; brother, Joseph Upchurch (Ann) of Willow Spring; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Melvin Bell; mother, Excel Adams Upchurch; and brother, Thomas Ray Upchurch.
