Shirlene Gray Register

Shirlene Gray Register, 84, passed away October 20, 2021. A native of Wake County, Shirlene was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ima Parrish Johnson. A celebration of Shirlene’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 30th at Broken Wing Fellowship. Shirlene is survived by her husband of 67 years, Ray Register; Daughters, Renee R. Boone, and husband, William, Lisa R. Hoeger and husband, Raymond both of Garner; son, Anthony Ray Register and wife, Kris of Garner; sister, Evelyn Byrd and husband, G.W. of Lillington; grandchildren, Ryan Boone, Vance Shell, Derick Shell, Jake Register, Delaney Register; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Jaxton, and Sadie Lynn. In addition to her parents, Shirlene was preceded in death by her sister, Penny Gail Williams; brother, Braxton Johnston.
