Sherwood Dunn

Sherwood Dunn, Age 84, died on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Transitions Hospice in Wake County. He was Born on January 25, 1942, in Johnston County, North Carolina to the late Walter Dunn and Allie Mae Lee Dunn. He was the owner of Custom Woodwork and was well known for his custom cabinet work.

He is survived by his loving family which includes his wife, Janet Dunn of Garner; daughter, Sherry Seabock and husband Mike of Fuquay Varina and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Allene Dunn, Jean Mason and Brenda Byrd and his brothers, Charles Ray Dunn and Robert Dunn.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner. A graveside service will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Angier at 1:45 pm.
