Sharon A. Thayer

ANGIER, NC– Sharon A. Thayer, 75, formerly of Syracuse, NY, passed away on Monday at Rex Hospital in Raleigh with her sons by her side.

Sharon is survived by her sons, Timothy Thayer (Melissa) of Willow Spring, NC, and Donald Thayer, Jr. (Jennifer) of Madison, NC; sister, Patricia Sullivan of Syracuse, NY; grandchildren, Victoria, Justin, Sarah, Jessica, and Michelle Thayer; and the father of her children, Donald Thayer, Sr. of Tully, NY.

Born in Olean, NY, she was predeceased by her parents, Shirley and Bernie Sullivan; a brother, Daniel Sullivan; and a niece, Jena Sipes. She devoted her life to family, raising her two sons, caring for her mother, and caring for her grandchildren.
