Sharleen Marcom Phillippi

Raleigh- Sharleen Marcom Phillippi passed away Saturday. A native of Wake County, she is the daughter of the late John and Lutie Watkins Hall. Funeral service will be Thursday at 2:00 pm at The Point Church (formerly Inwood Baptist Church), 3700 Lake Wheeler Road, Raleigh, NC 27603. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Sharleen is survived by her husband of 58 years, Fred Phillippi, Sr.; daughters Deborah Upchurch and husband, Ronnie, Sharon Matthews and husband, Alan; son, Fred Lee Phillippi, Jr. and wife, Beth all of Raleigh; grandchildren, Michelle Bunce and husband, Michael, Alex Upchurch and wife, Melissa, Bradley Matthews and wife, Allison, Ashley Oakley and husband, Tyler, Scott Phillippi, Paige Phillippi; great-granddaughter, Lynnsie Bunce. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
