Sandra Mead Radford

FUQUAY-VARINA- Sandra “Sandy” Radford, 75, passed away Friday. Born in Wake County, she was the daughter of the late James Frank and Ruth Cates Gailey. She had a love for many things including her numerous Schnauzer’s throughout the years, reading, Duke basketball and the University as a whole. In addition to her full-time job, she enjoyed doing medical transcription at home in the evenings. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 1st from 6:00-8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner. A private entombment will be held at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh. Sandy is survived by her loving husband, James “Jim” Radford; daughters, Zoe Underwood, Karen Sykes; son, James Radford, Jr.; grandchildren, Stephen Underwood, Fred Sykes, III; great grandchildren, Hannah Underwood and Levi Underwood.
