Gene Clark

Samuel Eugene Clark, 83, better known as Gene, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord on January 3, 2025. Born on December 22, 1942 in Martin County, NC to the late Samuel and Betty Clark, he will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched.

In addition to his parents, Gene is preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy Pearce Clark; brother, Donnie Clark; and several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his sister, Margaret Johnson.

A period of visitation will be held from 12:00 - 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 7th, 2026 at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 3000 E. Garner Road, Raleigh, NC 27610 with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM. A committal service will follow in the church cemetery.
