Sadie Bonnadine Eater

ANGIER, NC – Sadie “Bonnadine” Eater, 95, passed away at Universal Healthcare in Lillington on Saturday. Born in Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Alva Phelps and Betty Hutchison Phelps. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens, Woodlawn, Illinois. She is survived by her husband of 79 years, Arthur Eater of Angier, NC; daughter, Patricia Mooney (Rick) of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Tyson Mooney (Meredith) of Durham, NC, Melissa Canales (Travis Heath) of Hope Mills, NC; Caleb Mooney (Jana) of Mooresville, NC; great-grandchildren, Zoeyjane Gerraghty, Alexander Remi Canales, and Hendrix Canales. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Bateman and Estalee Short; brothers, Gene Phelps and Nelson Phelps.
