Ryan Duane Mays, 50, of Angier, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, at home in Angier, North Carolina. He was born on November 17, 1975, in Harnett County, North Carolina, to Larry Keith Mays and Carol Ann Mays. Ryan was preceded in death by his mother.

Ryan is survived by his daughter, Sarah Mays of Fuquay-Varina; stepson, Hunter Nelms (Isabella) of Mebane; stepdaughter, Hailey Nelms of Wilmington; his father, Larry Mays of Fuquay-Varina; brothers, Keith, Brandon, Terry; and sisters, Tiffeny, Andrea, Jerri and Hannah.
