Runell Norris Newton

ANGIER –Runell Norris Newton, 81, passed away Thursday at home surrounded by her loving family. A native of Harnett County she was the daughter of the late Walter C. and Pearlie Christine Norris. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Angier. Burial will follow at Harnett Memorial Park, Lillington. Survivors include daughter, Loretta Pleasant (Steve) of Coats, son, Trent Newton (Kim) of Lillington; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Newton, and brother, Darnell Norris. Memorials may be made to Neills Creek Baptist Church, 4200 Neills Creek Rd., Angier, NC 27501 in Runell’s memory.
