Rudy Hines Rhodes

Raleigh – Rudy Hines Rhodes, 80, passed away Thursday. He is the son of the late Peter and Ila McLeod Rhodes. Surviving are his wife, Jean Stephenson Rhodes; daughters, Judy Rhodes Brinkley and husband, Mike of Lafayette IN, Tabitha Rhodes Smithwick and husband, Mike of Hawkinville GA; sons, Jesse Ray Rhodes and wife, Claudia of Tampa FL; sister, Louise Godwin of Holly Springs; brother, Larry W. Rhodes and wife, Vernie of Fuquay-Varina; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday night from 6 – 8 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Angier. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at Rawls Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
