Roy Kenneth Dotson

Roy Kenneth Dotson "Ken," 78, of Fuquay-Varina, NC, passed away at home on May 17, 2026. Born on September 30, 1947, in Kentucky, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Ken will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and dedication to his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rosanne Dotson; his two sons, Brian Dotson of Kissimmee, FL, and his wife, Paula, and Jason Dotson of Wake Forest, NC, and his wife, Lisa. He was a proud and beloved grandfather to Christian, Haley, Ethan, Dylan, Cortland, Kenzie, Brady, Bryce, and Ruby.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, at 2:00 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, 701 Oakwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27601.
