Romain Chamberlain

Romain Allen Chamberlain, 89, passed away on Saturday March 21st 2026 in Garner, North Carolina. Romain was born in Queens, NY on August 6, 1936. He was the son of Armon and Barbara (Huebner) Chamberlain and brother of Ronald Chamberlain (Barbara) and Barbara Scarangella (Salvatore). Romain is survived by his wife Lynnette and his three children Catherine Natole (Patrick) of Rocky Mount, Victoria Brundage (Thomas) of Cary, and Edward Chamberlain (David) of Tacoma, WA as well as three grandchildren Kaitlin Brundage, Conor Brundage, and Sean Brundage, and niece Jennifer Scarangella of Astoria, NY.

Romain grew up in New York state and enlisted in the Army to serve his country. He traveled to various parts of the world, serving in the Special Forces overseas in Korea and Vietnam, and retired after 20 years of service. He later worked as a defense contractor in New York and New Jersey. During his free time, he enjoyed camping, watching the New York Yankees and Jacksonville Jaguars, and spending time in Florida. He loved being at home in the backyard barbequing and spending time with his family and pets. He was greatly loved and will be missed and remembered always.
