Robert “Bob” Allen Munns

Robert (Bob) Allen Munns, age 77, passed away on March 28th, 2020 in his home in Raleigh NC. Bob is survived by; his wife June Smith Munns and daughter Ella Charisse Boulden; former wife Mary Elaine Altman and daughters Lisa Munns Wetzel and Mary Kimberly Argus; brother Richard Floyd Munns; grandchildren Brooke, Ethan, Kenzie, Austin, Lucas, and Carter; son-in-laws Billy Lang Argus, Chad Timothy Boulden, and Timothy Paul Wetzel; along with many loving friends and family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Floyd Munns and Lyncie Honeycutt Munns. Bob was born on February 6th, 1943, in Wilmington NC. He grew up in Whiteville NC, playing football until moving to Lumberton NC his last year of high school. Bob attended Campbell University, in his second year a car accident left him in a coma for nine days. Never one to give up, Bob recovered and attended NC State University until 1969. He owned and operated SPM Inc, a Raleigh-based Construction Management and Land Development company. Throughout his life, Bob strived to ensure his loved ones were happy. From camping trips, to family dinners, Bob was happiest when surrounded by and caring for his family. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. The family would like to thank Bryan-Lee Funeral Home of Garner, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Bobs name to The Parkinsons Foundation (200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131) and The Smith Senter Family Cemetery (204 Kipling Road, Fuquay, NC 27526).
