Richard Michael Rhodes, 58, died Sunday. Born in Florence, SC, he was the son of the late Lawrence Simpson Rhodes, Jr. and Esther Louise Geddings Rhodes. Funeral Service will be 6:00 pm Thursday at Faith Community Church, 2180 Steel Bridge Rd., Clayton. (www.fcc-clayton.com)The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Survivors include his fiance, Lupe Boyle; daughter, Laurin Rhodes Johnson of Houston, TX; son, Richard Michael Mikey Rhodes of Raleigh; sister, Sabrina Sorrell and husband, David of Clayton; brothers, Larry Rhodes and wife, Rhonda of Clayton and Alva Timothy Rhodes and wife, Reta of Clayton.
