Phillip Lynn Walker

Phillip Lynn, 42, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015. Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Burial will follow in Auburn Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1-2:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service. He is survived by his sister Laura Michelle Walker of Willow Spring; brother, Brian Patrick Walker of Orlando, Florida, and niece Kendall Brooke Wise of Willow Spring. Also surviving are his parents, Alma Mae Black and Benny Earl Walker, both of Garner, along with many aunts, uncles and nephews. Phillip graduated from Garner Senior High School in 1992. Most of Phillip’s career was spent servicing and repairing commercial food equipment with Hobart sales and service, with his last job being with Advance Auto. He had a remarkable ability to build and repair most anything. Phillip spent countless hours on his boat with friends enjoying water sports that he truly loved. He enjoyed viewing and collecting Sci-Fi movies, flying remote controlled airplanes and helicopters, and had an endless love for the UNC Tarheels. Phillip’s humble, gentle spirit will forever be missed by his family and friends.
