Peggy Lou Baker

Peggy Lou Page Baker, 69, departed this life on Thursday, June 25, 2026, in UNC Medical Center, Chapel Hill, NC.

Left to cherish her memory is her son whom she was so proud of, Jonathan Baker and his wife, Tammy, her loving grandchildren, Emma and Jaxon, her loving sisters, Sherry Crabtree and her husband, Morris and Kay Ausley and her husband, Marty, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward "Eddie" Baker, her parents, Elton and Betty Page, and her brother, Randy Page.

Peggy grew up in the Willow Spring and Coats area, where she built a life rooted in faith, family, and kindness. She was a devoted family woman whose greatest joy was her grandbabies, who were truly the apple of her eye. Peggy had a nurturing spirit and a generous heart, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She lovingly cared for not only her own family but also babysat countless children over the years, treating each one with the same warmth and compassion she showed her own. Rarely seen without a smile, Peggy had a way of making everyone feel welcome, loved, and cared for. Her selfless nature, gentle heart, and unwavering love for others will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 29, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 300 E. McIver Street, Angier, NC.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fuquay-Varina, NC.
