Peggy Ann Utley Williams

RALEIGH - Peggy Ann Utley Williams, 89, a native of Raleigh, NC, passed peacefully and was received in heaven on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.

Surviving are her children, Barbara A. Couch (late husband Roger); Thomas L. (and wife Deborah); Michael E. (and wife Deborah); ten grandchildren and thirty-four great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Virginia H. Utley; husband, Thomas E. Williams; sister, Betty U. Jones; sister, Virginia U. Chidester; brother, Norman S. Utley and great-grandson Jack C. Williams.

Peggy worked with the Wake County Government in the Purchasing and Finance Department for twenty-one years and retired in 1995.

A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 11a.m. at Catawba Springs Christian Church, 6801 Ten-Ten Rd, Apex, NC 27539. Following the service, burial will take place at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh.
