With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Patsy Parker, who entered her eternal rest on November 25th, 2025, surrounded by her family's love.
A woman of creativity, warmth, and gentle strength, she shared her gifts through painting, crafts, and the beautiful artificial flower arrangements she so loved to make. She treasured her dear friends, Shirley Spalla and Dot Geil, and devoted her life to her family with unwavering selflessness and grace.
Patsy served faithfully in clerical and administrative roles at Canteen and the Environmental Protection Agency, touching many with her kindness and work ethic. Yet her greatest joy came from being a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, always ready with encouragement, comfort, and prayer.
Her deep faith in Jesus Christ shaped every part of her life. As a longtime member of Bible Study Fellowship, she grew in her walk with the Lord and shared His love through her words and actions. Her desire was for all she cherished to know the peace and joy she found in her faith.
Though we will miss her beyond measure, we rest in the assurance that her legacy of love, compassion, and devotion lives on in the hearts of all who knew her, and that she is now in the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
She is survived by Larry Garver (former husband); her children Debra King (Jeff), Tony Garver, and Marc Parker (Cathy); grandchildren Amanda Blakely (Michael), Daniel Garver (Marissa) and Matthew Garver; great grandchildren Kyler, Banks, and Asher Blakely.
She was preceded in death by her former husband William M. Parker.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Raleigh. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 - 2:00 pm prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you consider a donation to Bible Study Fellowship in Patsy Parker's memory. https://www.bsfinternational.org/support/
