Patricia Isphording Burdge

Patricia "Pat" Isphording Burdge, 69, of Raleigh, passed away peacefully at home on April 27, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born in Harrisonburg, VA, on March 6, 1957, to Helen Jeannette Rawl Isphording and Thomas Page Isphording.

Pat was a 1975 graduate of Sanderson High School in Raleigh. She worked her entire adult life in the medical field, beginning in the late 1970s as a phlebotomist. Over the years, she worked for several companies, including Upjohn, and most recently Optum 360, where she retired in 2021.

Pat loved her family above all else, and her life was defined by the care and devotion she gave to them. She was an avid lover of animals and her plants, and she greatly enjoyed visits to the beach and memorable vacations with her sister.

Pat is survived by her husband of 44 years, Wesley Hale Burdge; her three children, Derek Jordan Burdge of Raleigh; Samuel Page Burdge and partner Ashton Hardy of Holly Springs; and Katherine Jeannette Burdge and partner Ryan Harbert of Raleigh; and two grandchildren, Ronan Patrick Harbert and Paxton Austin Burdge.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Isphording MacMillan.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner.
