Pansy Greer Wood

WILLOW SPRING– Pansy Greer Wood, 84, passed away on Tuesday at her home with her daughter, Teresa and granddaughter, Jessie by her side. A native of Avery County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Vastie Vester Greer. Pansy will be buried at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Fuquay-Varina. Pansy is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Pinion, Mary Russell (Glenn), Teresa Wood; grandchildren, Jessica, Valerie, James, Joseph, Dylan, Samantha; great grandchildren, Zachary, Layla, Owen, Amelia, Savannah, Kayla, Jaelyn, Brittany and Jase; a great-great grandson, Landon; four sisters. In addition to her parents, Pansy was preceded in death by husband, Arthur Junior Wood; son, Jimmy Arthur Wood; three brothers.
