Norwood Guy

WILLOW SPRING - Norwood William Guy, Jr., of Willow Spring, died Jun 6th, 2025. He was born October 22, 1945 to the late Norwood William Guy, Sr. and Paulene Stephenson Guy.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Verdeana (Teeny), Terry, and Ricky.

Norwood is survived by his sister, Patsy Guy Johnson; his sons, Glenn Guy (Ann) and Andy Guy (Christina); grandsons, James and Shane Guy; granddaughter, Charlotte Guy; ex-wife and close friend Margaret Brake; best friend Danny Stephenson; and many cousins.

William served with the United States Army and was deployed in Vietnam during the height of that conflict. He worked for many years with SPATCO and later for Knightdale Tractor. His first job, though, was working the family farm with his dad and brothers.

He loved the Lord, his family, and his country; holding on to that love over a tough health battle over sixteen years.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 300 E. McIver Street, Angier, NC 27501.
