Neil Singh, 55, of Cary, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 8th, 2025, in his town of residence. He was born on May 25th, 1970, in DeHoop, Guyana.
Neil was a cherished and devoted husband to his wife, Nalini Singh, and a caring, loving father to his daughters Sarah, Sadie, and Sophie. His love for them was unwavering, his presence comforting, and his legacy will live on in the family he held so dearly.
He graduated from Touro University College of Medicine and proudly served in the United States Army as a medic for eight years during Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He was highly decorated, earning the Southwest Asia Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars, among many other honors. Following his military service, Neil continued his calling in the medical field as a cardiology PA, working with esteemed institutions including Medtronic and Duke Medical. He was a respected figure and made a lasting impact on the lives of countless patients in his care.
In 2017, Neil earned his pilot's license and found immense joy flying his family and friends in his private plane. He had a gift for bringing people together-hosting gatherings filled with laughter, jokes, and his signature "cookup," always a favorite. Above all, Neil treasured his family and loved traveling the world to create unforgettable memories.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Nalini Singh; his daughters, Sarah, Sadie, and Sophie; his mother, Kellimay Singh; and his brothers, Clarence Singh, Lennie Singh, and Nigel Singh. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Singh.
A wake will be held on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner, NC. A funeral service will follow on Sunday, July 13th, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with cremation to follow. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Neil Singh's life.
Memorial contributions may be made to any animal shelter or adoption agency in the RDU area, or to the VA Hospital, in honor of Neil's lifelong compassion and service.
Neil Singh will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew him. His memory will remain with us always, and his legacy will continue to inspire.
