Nancy Joyce Schippers

Born in Rochester, New York, Nancy moved to Raleigh in 2009 to be with her mother, sister, and brother-in-law. She is survived by her sister in North Carolina, her sister and niece in Alaska, as well as her brother and nephew in Texas. 

Nancy was a devoted daughter, sister, and friend who had a deep love for dachshunds. Her heart of gold drew people to her, a quality that made her a dedicated and beloved nurse for over 45 years. She was truly adored by both her family and her many colleagues.

Nancy will be laid to rest during a private ceremony at Oakwood Cemetery.
