Nancy Fister Beam

GARNER, NC - Nancy Fister Beam passed away on August 27, 2013 at her home in Garner, NC. She was born in Clearfield, PA on January 12, 1936. She was a graduate of Clearfield High School , Class of 1954and took a job at Taylor Instruments in Rochester, NY the next day. In April of 1962, she married Edward Beam of Clearfield. She took a job at Delco (General Motors) in Rochester where her husband worked and was with them for 24 ½ years. She and Ed both retired on June 30, 1991. In 1997, they moved to Garner, NC. She is survived by her husband, Edward Beam of Garner, NC; two daughters, Stacey Beam of Garner, NC and Shari Morris of Smithfield, NC and a son, Scott Beam of Charleston, SC; three grandchildren, Joshua Beam and Jesse Beam of Charleston, SC and Amber Morris of Smithfield, NC; one great-granddaughter, Eden Beam of Charleston, SC.
